Eligible low-income secondary-school families receive education and clothing allowances.
Check whether this applies to you
Years 7–12 full-time WA school or registered home education, through the year the student turns 18; eligible Centrelink pension/health card or blue DVA Pensioner Concession Card. Students generally appear on the parent card; independent-student and Years 11–12 card-evidence exceptions apply. No duplicate annual claim; foster parents excluded. Normal 2026 Term 1 window closed. Limited late-arrival exceptions exist; ask the school.
What to prepare
- School application and both sides of eligible concession card; bank details for payments to applicant.
- If applicable: Centrelink independence confirmation or current home-education registration letter.
