2026 assistance is $164 for Years 7–10 and $357 for Years 11–12, with part-time enrolments prorated. School enrolment data normally drives payment.
Check whether this applies to you
Eligible Years 7–12 students at approved Queensland state/non-state schools, and registered home-education students. The procedure excludes full-fee-paying international and temporary-resident students and certain institutional/enrolment categories. There is no general family online grant claim. In a school resource scheme the allowance offsets the scheme fee; other payment or credit arrangements go through the school. The November deadline below applies to home education, not every school family.
What to prepare
- School enrolment/year-level details; a resource-scheme participation agreement if applicable.
- For direct school payment, payment details requested by the school; for home education, the official invitation and registration identifiers.
